We know that early detection is critical to improving overall survival rates for breast and other cancers. This advanced technology makes it possible to detect cancer earlier than the traditional film method. The new digital equipment creates precise images that can be transmitted via the internet to patients' physicians, or to facilities such as the University of Washington for interpretation. |
