WIN A NEW SUV!

3rd Annual Car Raffle Helps with Cancer Prevention

This year's raffle vehicle is a 2009 Honda CRV EX 4x4.

Funds from the Raffle and other activities are being used to pay for the digital mammography equipment in United's Breast Care Suite. We know that early detection is critical to improving overall survival rates for breast and other cancers. This advanced technology makes it possible to detect cancer earlier than the traditional film method. The new digital equipment creates precise images that can be transmitted via the internet to patients' physicians, or to facilities such as the University of Washington for interpretation.

With the purchase of digital mammography equipment the Breast Care Center at United General Hospital is equipped with the most advanced technology for detection of breast cancer.

Last year's lucky winner of the 2008 Ford Mustang GT Premium was: John Tobin of Koloa, Hawaii--ticket number 7656, the ticket was drawn by Dino Rossi.    Mr. Tobin is from the Mount Vernon area just living in Hawaii at the moment.

Mike Buzzard of Mount Vernon was the winner of the previous year's raffle of a 2007 Ford Mustang convertible. Mike held winning ticket number 01125.

It is the goal of the United General Hospital Foundation to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. We would be extremely thankful for your visionary support of breast cancer treatment.
